Assisting in the development and maintenance of the electrical \/ instrumentation and control equipment \/ systems, distribution systems, procedures, and competency requirements to ensure continues functionality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">YARD PHASE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> Reporting to on shift GOE MaintS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ICSS Technician primarily responsible for the ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of the DCS system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct planned maintenance, repairs, fault finding, calibration, certification, and modifications on a range of instrument industrial and control systems including.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Instrument protection systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fire and gas detection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Field and analytical instrumentation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Telemetered systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SCADA \/ HMI \/ PLC \/ PROFIBUS \/ Ethernet systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flow monitoring equipment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Control circuits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Safety instrumented loops<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communications networks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstration and acceptance of walk down, pre-check of system for handover.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participation in ensuring that preservation activities are completed to a high standard to make sure that equipment is ready to operate when on location with minimal delay to start-up.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On site walk through and dry runs of the system operating manuals to make sure that they are fit for purpose and accurate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Technical focal point\/representative for new projects to ensure designed for reliability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development and implementation of mechanical plant modifications, either directly or via contractors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborating with the ICSS vendors for all equipment installations and modification ensuring that effective MoC is in place for all changes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assists specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conducts, at site representative\u2019s request and GOE Validation, any intervention within his field of competence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Process safety review of equipment and systems pre-start-up of FPU.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify, assess, and mitigate hazards to safety, both personal and process, which present a risk to safety on board the FPU. Indicate any areas of concern to line Supervisor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain zero accidents by complying to all Safety rules &amp; regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stop Work that is unsafe or likely to cause damage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate and actively encourage fostering of a ONE TEAM approach for the crew and third-party contractors\u2019 staff that will be part of the core team make up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">OPERATIONS PHASE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Responsible for effective planning and execution of Integrated Controls &amp; Safety Systems work scope.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensures that GOE\u2019s HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during preparation and performance of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organises and performs on site the maintenance Operations which are placed under his responsibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assists the Planning Engineer with the resourcing and suitable planning input to ensure a quality preparation and execution of all ICSS and Systems works.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Responsible for attaining and maintaining Competence Management Assurance System<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintained personal Control of Work- (CoW) competencies. Perform the role of (PA) Performing Authority, (IA) Isolating Authority in the framework of the Cow.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure CMMS work requests are sufficiently detailed, clearly defining the scope of work or nature of problem along with basic planning information, on completion recording work history with sufficient level of technical detail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Responsible for training, coaching, and assessing less experienced team members.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stop Work that is unsafe or likely to cause damage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstration and acceptance of walk down, pre-check of system for handover.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify, assess, and mitigate hazards to safety, both personal and process, which present a risk to safety on board the FPU. Indicate any areas of concern to line Supervisor and Area Authority.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Responsible for conducting personal safety commitments via GOE Behavioural Observation &#8211; Internal system, procedures and provide feedback to line supervisor on requirement to update or amend.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Takes in charge the systems under his responsibility in case of breakdown until correct operation is resumed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintains an accurate and auditable log of all system faults and inhibits (Short term and long term)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure effective systems are maintained for the identification, assessment, and control of significant environmental risks at site.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensures that all maintenance and repairs to plant and equipment are conducted in a safe manner and in strict compliance with GOE operating procedures and any statutory legislation to maintain all such equipment in safe operating condition.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Member of Emergency Response (ER) teams as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Responsible for timely execution of all ICSS system maintenance, including Major Accident Critical Equipment \u2013MACE<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensured that all ICSS maintenance is fully &amp; accurately recorded in CMMS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitors (and in certain plant \u2013 Operates) the functioning of any equipment placed under his responsibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verifies the quality of his interventions by frequent checks prior to hand-back of critical or high integrity equipment to production after maintenance activity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Performs trouble shooting in the ICSS, PLC, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensured performance monitoring programs are managed on site.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participation in ensuring that preservation activities are completed to a high standard to make sure that equipment is ready to operate when on location with minimal delay.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working with project teams as part of the system walk downs, punch listing, and handover.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On site walk through and dry runs of the system operating manuals to make sure that they are fit for purpose and accurate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identifies recurrent corrective maintenance interventions, analyses them, and suggests improvements,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keeps a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programmes and, if necessary, suggests improvements to GOE.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Warns support and planning teams of any recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Active participation in the HSEQ monitoring programs and highlighting of potential risk areas to GOE.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Responsible for input to &amp; implementation of TQs \/ Management of Change<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate and actively encourage fostering of a ONE TEAM approach for the O&amp;M crew and the third-party contractor\u2019s staff that will be part of the core team make up.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In all cases looking out for GOE best interests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, &amp; SKILLS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Minimum Qualifications:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A trade technician or graduate development role with a core skill of Production \/ Instrument \/ Automation or Electrical who has developed a second skill (s) and is therefore deemed multi-skilled.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>HNC or NVQ Level 3 in Control and Instrumentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>COMPEX Certification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>BOSIET \/ MEDICAL \/ MIST training<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Helideck Operations Support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Emergency Response Team member as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Job-Specific Skills:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Experience in the field of Instrument &amp;
