The Control Room Operator (CRO) is responsible for monitoring and operating all equipment within the Central Control Room (CCR) and carrying out external communications.\u00a0Manage operations and maintenance work activity safely, in accordance with stated requirements and control of work system and provide accurate reporting and recording of work activity and findings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Yard Phase<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Reporting to the Production Superintendent (Days) or the Production Lead (Nights)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The role primarily is assisting with system walk downs prep work, lining up systems ready for start-up.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Actively participating in embedding GOE\u2019s values and culture into the team and identifying any areas that are deficient so that improvements can be made.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Working with project teams as part of the system walk downs, punch listing and handover.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • On site walk through and dry runs of the system operating manuals to make sure that they are fit for purpose and accurate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Active participation in the HSEQ monitoring programs and highlighting of potential risk areas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Coaching and mentoring as delegated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Manage activities within control room ensuring it is run in a calm, orderly and calm manner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Provide input to the performance management of production operators.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Work effectively in a team environment to monitor, log, resolve, and escalate operation and safety issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Identification and ratification of operating consumables that are required and planning suitable storage locations on board.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • As a member of a busy team, actively assist with additional projects as required or requested by Superintendent<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • On site assessment of the systems to ensure operability will be acceptable with and deficiencies identified in a timely manner to enable resolution or mitigation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Responsible for tracking and recording the status of the operational system using applicable journals and control system tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Review operability and functionality of the ICSS as well as the ergonomics of the systems layout in CCR.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Ongoing monitoring of the build quality and immediate highlighting to ProdS of any identified shortfalls or omissions which could affect forward operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Compile of unofficial punch list items which will be shared with project team for resolution<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • On site reviews of the equipment maintainability and assessment of equipment handling solutions to make sure that they are fit for purpose.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Participate in ensuring that preservation activities are completed to a high standard to make sure that equipment is ready to operate when on location with minimal delay.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Identify and recommend changes to improve overall plant reliability, performance and output.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Verify that all safety related equipment is installed correctly and has the correct settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Adhere to plant operational procedures for production goal achievement and handle work safely.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Participate in audit, technical and incident investigations as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Adhere to and comply with performance standards for service delivery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Responsible to report and identify any abnormal operating and equipment conditions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Ensuring that gas and oil exports fulfil requirements as per specifications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Monitors the performance of personnel, wells and production equipment to maximize recovery; Calculates daily rates and reports production information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Monitoring and control of the platform process, utility and safety systems from the central control room.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Communication to process operators as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Operations Phase
    <\/h4>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Knowledge and understanding regarding Turkish Offshore Legislation, vessel stability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Permit to Work systems, Major Accident Hazards, Helideck Procedures and Marine Procedures relevant to 500-meter Safety Zone is essential.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Technically competent in own discipline and provide discipline support to the business.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Ensure self-awareness of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives and industry technology developments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Provide discipline input to scope definition and execution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Deputise for line as delegated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Testing, maintaining and modifying existing systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Deliver against agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI\u2019s) \/ Well Operating GuideLines (WOGL).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Input operational system status with applicable journals and control system tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Operates, monitors, tests, and maintains all process equipment and safety devices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Responsible for monitoring the overall safety related to ESD and F&G systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Analysing data and presenting findings in written reports<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Working collaboratively with design engineers, operation engineers, purchasers and other internal staff<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Gain awareness of system operating requirements and trends and suggest operating adjustment suggestions<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Supporting and supervising tasks delegated to Trainee CRO\u2019s<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Execute assigned personal objectives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Maintain good control over the application and removal of safety system overrides<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Management of vendors in the execution of operational delivery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Understanding and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and quality standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Identify and recommend changes to improve overall plant reliability, performance and output.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Maintain appropriate records and documents and submit reports as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Daily reporting and administrative activities as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Besides on-the-job training offshore, you will attend several courses which cover safety related as well as technical training.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Operating vessel fixed and portable radio equipment including radio log and function test equipment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Must be trained and competent in Emergency Response and have excellent communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Must be fluent in English speaking and writing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Monitoring ongoing work on the FPU as far as related to safety and environmental issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Actively maintaining own competence and continuous development, ensuring learning opportunities are captured and realised.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Identify and highlight areas for improvement within the Yokagawa ICSS System<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Minimum Qualifications:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • Technical training to at least HNC \/ HND level or equivalent qualification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • BOSIET \/ MEDICAL<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Preferable have OPITO CRO Emergency Response certification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Emergency Response Team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Minimum Experience:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        • Excellent practical knowledge of process \/ systems plant and equipment relevant to the industry sector in own discipline area<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Experienced technician practice within an offshore production operation environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
